The agriculture area is chuck full of field games, farm animals, raffle prizes, entertainment and lots of family fun activities.

Kicking off with Potato Sack Racing, open sign-up games will run all afternoon including Pumpkin Bowling, Corncob Darts, Haystack Maze, Egg Tossing, Giant Pumpkin Rolling, Cornhole and more!

Apple Cider Pressing

Local Farmer/Artist; Jamie Townsend will be pressing cider all weekend long, giving samples and selling the cider made on-site!

Dancin’ with the Honeybees

Cliff Sunflower will be performing Dancin’ with the Honeybees a program in which he uses storytelling, poetry, prose, puppetry, music, dance and participatory theatre to teach about honeybees and their importance to the natural world.

Mark Munzert a Cowboy Poet

In his own words mark says: “I tell the stories and lessons of rural life, horse happenings, and cow-losophy in rhyme and metered verse. Not exactly Roy Rogers, Green Acres, or Lonesome Dove but reminiscence and current day yarns of real-deal country culture. Slack your cinch and enjoy!”

Slippery Slope Goats

Slippery Slope Goats will show off some of their awesome team of grazers who do some grazing and brush clearing services in Southern and Central Vermont, specializing in invasive plant species.

Morse Brook Farm

Morse Brook Farm will have sheep on-site and a booth setup where you can learn about their farms vision of humane care for livestock who will spend their days grazing on the beautiful pastures.

They will also be demonstrating the sheep dog’s role in sheep farming.

Bear Honey Farms

The farm where Cliff Sunflower keeps his bees and with their help produces honey, candles and other beeswax products.

Here you can learn all about bees and see a hive of LIVE honeybees.

Little Diggers Worm Farm

is an educational workshop created and ran by Lyric (6 yrs.) and Luca (9 yrs.) that teaches kids how to make their own worm farms. Little Diggers offers small batches of worms for mini worm farm kits, small start Vermicomposting buckets, bait fishing worms, and a whole educational demonstration to go with it.

Tractor Pulled Wagon Rides

Hop in the wagon and go on a scenic wagon ride throughout our beautiful town of Chester.
